Best movie related YouTube channel?

I'm glad they removed the comedy bits from the beginning of shows.

Showed the wife Red Letter ages ago and had to explain the first 5 minutes was a comedy bit and later they talk about movies. She loves them and we watch every video together. Not all best of the worst but some when we want to watch some crazy stuff.

I mean they still have them but they aren't as overbearing as the past mr plinkette stuff. or did they actually do single "comedy videos"

but yes they undoubtably are. knowledgeable movie nerds who will too pessimistic and critical and hard to please for some, none the less won't shill for the studios because they have nothing to lose.

Collider video was truly one of the most disgusting incestuous Hollywood shill channels ever. im glad its basically dead

I remember when I was discovering podcasts around 2010 and was listening to Collider and Schmoes Know as there wasn't much easily accessible stuff back then. Soon noped out and looked elsewhere, as they were abit shilly, excited about everything. Barely critical and only talked about popcorn movies.

Same! it was love hate for sure. I loved the movie fights and some of the film insight, hated the obvious shilling off them defending utter garbage. they had to, they had access at the time (early previews, interviews ect) and would have lost that had they went too hard on a studios film.

one video stuck out to me and solidified my shill guess. it was one trailer reaction. It was the military guy but I cant remmeber what film, but the trailer was utter garbage (so was the film) and you could see his fake smile drop at a particularly bad part before he realized and put it back on. from his analysis of the trailer after it was such basic, generic not particularly strong use of words, that despite what he was saying you could tell he didn't enjoy it but had to say he "liked it" and "it looks good"

There were times when I just wanted to hear the movie talk, but I actually miss the little storyline routine. I heartily laughed out loud during one episode when Mike and Jay where talking about a movie and Mr. Plinkett was duct taped to a chair and randomly interrupted the two and said "Are yall done fixing my VCR yet'? xD It reminded me thats what the entire storyline has been and they got away from it for awhile. Remember when Plinketts house was flying in the air then ended up on top of mount everest? The story took crazy turns all the time.

Is there a half in the bag, or a best of the worst episode you have returned to multiple times? The half in the bag episode that I introduced to my fiance was the one about Ready Player One and she has enjoyed watching RedLetterMedia with me ever since.

RedLetterMedia is the only youtube movie channel I havent grown tired of and its because they dont act pretentious and they are entertaining with enough different content to engage. I have stopped some best of the worst videos due to the movies themselves being disturbing, but mostly I have enjoyed watching them. My fiance and me were intently watching during the Junka episodes lol xD I didnt realize how much fun it would be to see them competing in pulling and stacking a Jenga Tower made of VHS tapes xD
