The problem with this is that it is Star Wars.

I've always found it so amazing that Star Wars has survived and prospered for so long and maintained interest - because at its heart it is so stupid. I used to complain that SW was dumb and childish, but that may be the answer to my question. No matter who stupid it is or gets it is still cute and eye candy for kids.

But it is weird to see grown adults going crazy for Star Wars. Maybe kids who have never grown up.

I did feel that sense of wonder when I saw the original Star Wars movie in the theater in the AMC 6 Old Mill theater in Mountain View CA whenever it was that it came out. It was fun, but it has been dragged on for far too long, and I guess it will keep going as long as someone thinks they can make a buck off it.
