I'm typically skeptical of what many would consider "anti-woke" backlash, but holy shit is this spot on.
When trying to promote the show, they don't talk about anything of depth or value, but rather the colors, the costumes, the cast, the writers. They go on and on gushing about them. Except, there's no reason described as to why they're so good. And this is a huge problem in modern society.
"This show is so great"
Why?
"Because the cast is so great"
What makes the cast so great?
"Because they're in such great shows"
Ugh.
