Which films would you mention (from that era only)??

I like that you mentioned equilibrium, highly underrated movie and mainly overlooked due to similarities to the matrix.
I must say though, Jurassic park 3? Granted it was better than lost world, that one was a travesty and doesnt hold a candle to the book but 3 was not underrated, if anything it garnered more recognition than it deserved.

Very underrated film.
It was many things, but underrated wasn't one of them.

Dude, you're basically just listing movies you like. More than half of them have good ratings and are appreciated in general.Avatar? Who underrated Avatar, one of the most successful movies ever to be produced?

reply

I don't know, maybe you are right. Oh and I was talking about Avatar (2004) - not Avatar (2009)!

reply

what is avatar(2004)?

There's a lot of bad movies on that list. I think Moon , The Fountain, Children of Men and Sunshine are all great movies, I also like Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow.

I think you are using underrated in the wrong way. Underrated is usually a good movie who a lot of people haven't discovered. Your list contains a lot of flat out terrible movies, Ultra Violet, A Sound of Thunder, Star Trek Nemesis, Mission to Mars, aren't some misunderstood classics.
