shareI got tickets for the 15th! :) I haven't heard anything about a press conference, though; as far as I know, the director won't be attending - but I could be wrong.

I just got back from the first screening, I really liked it. The subject matter (not surprisingly) seemed to be a big turn off for some who hurried out after it was over, but quite a few stayed to chat with the director. I wish Eva Green had been there :(
shareI just got back from the screening - I am in love with this film. I agree with the previous reviewers - it's a very thought-provoking, respectful film. The director seems fascinating, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of his work.
I'm relieved to read other positive reviews! I was sure people would be too uncomfortable to even say anything (though I'm sure the "how disgusting! how shocking!" reviews will follow eventually). I'm nearly certain that such a film wouldn't be released in the U.S. or Canada, so I can't even describe how happy I am to have seen it.

Completely agree. Just had a very thought-provoking conversation after the film with my boyfriend that lasted more than an hour! Will look forward to more films from this director...
