the fart scene with him and his mother made no sense at all, i can only believe it was put in there to show their awkward relationship.

I have to return some video tapes.

Is this a serious thread? Just asking because I just watched this and didn't see the scene you described. When did this occur?

when he sat on her lap and farted towards the end. she laughed and pushed him off then tickled him and he farted again. Then she got this disgusted look on her face and ran into the bedroom and locked the door. This scene may have been deleted on the dvd not sure.

I have to return some video tapes.

I've just watched it on Sky and am certain that scene wasn't in it. Looks like they agree with you that it was out of place.

That scene is not on the blue ray version too.

What Fart scene? Is it at the end of the movie or when he was a boy? I didn't see it!
