Oh, lord, that reminded me of the time I watched "Pink Flamingos" with my mother! We could watch anything together, but there was one scene in there that was pretty shocking! She's not easily shockable - she's worked in hospitals and seen everything - a lot of things I've never seen, like dead bodies and stuff. Nothing really shocked her. Very open-minded person for a mother, I really appreciated that quality in her!
Ssssshh! You'll wake up the monkey!
Ironically similar jobs all round, have you seen Devil? That was uncomfortable just through sheer sexual deviance...

no it's not Devil it's another name, I'll find it (not the elevator one)

Charlie this is the single most awful film you could watch w your mother , other than say Spanking the Monkey (even worse one to watch w her)
shareIt all depends on your mum. If she's well educated, liberal and as open-minded as Jane Fonda and Dr Ruth, certainly. Otherwise, no, no, no. Don't, no, don't. Just don't go there.
Taste doesn't enter into this film. It's more about controversy. It's a good film but some people won't be able to deal with the subject matter because it's too close to incest.
Note: there are no bare breasts but Matt Smith's arse is shown in a seabathing scene. There is also the nude backside of a male child.
well educated your a moron sir.
shareincorrect, there is a bare breast in the film, although it is in the context of feeding a baby, which may or may not have sexual overtones considering the bizarre subject matter of the film.
since i genuinely don't consider it to be "incest" as she is not his actual mother, i'd feel comfortable seeing it with my mum since the situation is completely different than a normal parent/child relationship. (i do consider it to be what i'd call "emotional incest", since she raised him as her child and he never knew any different til he was an adult-- but then, i also consider the rape scene to be more about him trying to regain power that was withheld from him all his life, than about sexual attraction, so what do i know.)

do you think it's ok for an adoptive father who has sex with his adoptive daughter because they aren't related by blood?
are you a fan of woody allen by any chance?
I didn't understand your Jane Fonda and Dr. Ruth reference. Could you explain please?
"You and I are just alike...problem-free. Nothing about us to feel horrible about."
Certain scenes where u would b uncomfortable watching with your mom. So my vote is:don't.
