He could always sense her unusual submissiveness and subtle 'wanting' emotions, even as a boy (pinning her down).
He may of ultimately thought the 'love' making may relieve that overwhelming tension. It made matters worse. The intimacy wasn't of love but, on the contrary, unhealthy in so many ways.

Your interpretation is spot-on. His mother has been too manipulative and seductive with him, and he also didn't know he was a clone, which is part of the anger he shows in that scene - she's just told him his whole life is a lie! He takes out part of his anger on her in a sexual manner - it's kind of a rape which she passively encourages and accepts - she probably could have stopped him if she tried. But she didn't!

well its not stated outright that she's a virgin but she never had sex with him either (or at least the audience assumes they never had sex). i got the virgin vibe too (even though the idea of virginity is a complete fallacy) from the look on her face but also not having sex for 18-20 years might make you clench up a bit too. her face during the sex scene says im in pain and also full of immediate regret and sorrow and confusion and a lot of other things.

shareI have seen this movie twice and never got the impression that she was virgin. I thought that she expressed her sexual interest and attraction to him from a very young age. Once he got older, I felt that her sexual frustration hot its peak and her sexual arousal around became harder to hide. When he decided to have sex with her, it is a combination of punishment and sexual frustration/confusion manifest with her. For her, it was more of a gasp of FINALLY, what I've been waiting for.
