I'm very curious to see what direction this film goes in. The reality of it is that the last days of Percy Fawcett's life are not known, and though there's potential for remarkable drama here, I dare say much of it will be fictional.

It's like A Perfect Storm; it's a great movie, but so much of it is fictional since there was no journal, radio contact, etc... most of it was purely made-up.

Does anyone know anything specific about the story arc here?

That would be such a travesty. Fortunately, I don't think anyone is dumb enough to add that into the movie.

I honestly got this American Sniper vibe from the 3 minute trailer where Fawcett is portrayed as this exceptionally gifted person who loves what he does. But he is torn between that and his wife (incidentally played by Sienna Miller who was also in American Sniper). Maybe that's the main conflict

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.
