Hi,
Anyone know where the location's will be while filming. I know Fawcett's family were from Carlise in Scotland 1hr drive from me. Just wondering if Scotland will be one of it's locations.

I doubt they'd spend money to go to Britain, after all, they're spending some bucks in South America where the important stuff happens. Hollywood's quite capable of faking a small c.192-, English house.

p.s. I thought I read somewhere that at least part of the family actually lived in Southern California in the early twenties.

I am from Brazil and the news here is saying Brad Pitt is in Bonito, Mato Grosso do Sul - MS - filming this movie. According to them, he´s in the Zagaia Hotel, taking some time to get to know the region (which is beautiful) before going to Cuiaba, Mato Grosso - MT - and start filming this movie.

They started filming in Belfast today, and the jungle scenes will be done in Colombia.

Right now as I type this reply they are filming (or prepping to film) in Co. Antrim N.Ireland. I have just driven past the set on the Feystown Road, Cairncastle, Larne.

Several dozen vehicles, lots of lighting equipment, actors trailers and I can see what looks like a burned jungle set. Lots of burnt shattered trees and muck.

Lots a lot more like a WWII battlefield to be fair.

Anyone local to the area can follow the bright orange 'LC' finger boards that have appeared all over the place in the last few days.

They were filming the 'shipping off' scene literally right outside my work window in the Titanic Quarter in Belfast. Was pretty cool to see all the cast and extras in their costumes.

Im really interested to see what they do with the green screens they had in the background.
