At the end, he reaches for the knife, and unlike Rambo II, he doesn't flick off the safety clasp. It's like Stallone has totally forgotten his character.

It's a small thing, but I always like that little detail that Rambo was a soldier and your knife is secured.

This might be the silliest topic on this site for any film. You are looking way too into that scene

It's not silly at all. It's a very out of character for Rambo. I don't think you understand the Rambo character at all. Maybe if you actually read the book you would????
