Hilarious truth to NJ

Its hilarious to see how people from NJ react when the truth about the state is shown. The majority of the state is low class with a rural mindset. People are fooled by the high median salaries to think that the state is full of wealthy and successful people. But this is just a function of the high cost of living of the state and does not represent a high standard of living.

Coming from an upper middle class suburban new jersey upbringing, you're right and you're wrong. The MAJORITY of the state is not how you described, but towns like west milford and other *beep* areas of sussex county are definitely as weird and hillbilly as they're portrayed in the film.

They're also getting less weird all the time. I grew up in Ringwood, the town right near West Milford, and it definitively had an almost rural feel. These days? It's pretty much a suburb of New York.

don't worry us foreigner's think the whole of the USA is like that :).
