I thought he was her dad almost the whole movie, lol. There were waaay too many ambiguous things in this movie like this.

how was it any way ambiguous?? rodney flat out says "she's with wesley now" you just weren't paying attention.

Yes. The first time we see him he's dropping her off and she says something like "Bye Wesley".

I thought Forrest was a major miscast in this film. I get that she chose some one that was dependable, older, not at all sexy, but... I mean come on, no one in their right mind would choose that man over Bale.

Plenty of people would choose a police officer with a good heart and stable job over a dirty guy with a neck tattoo that went to jail for drunk driving. It wasn't that hard to believe.

Have you ever noticed that the people who say "DC is for adults and Marvel is for kids", are kids?
