just saw it

Minor spoilers below.

Really enjoyed it, even more than I thought. A bit long, but hard to think of anything that should've been cut; my bladder was the only one complaining. Really interesting to see Chris Hemsworth play against type. He's pretty, but showed some range here. Beautiful movie. I predictive some Oscar nominations and some technical wins. I hope it goes somewhere, ie I'd like to see another with Hardy and Theron. But it's not in the nature of this series to really bring characters back other than Max, so Furiosa has arguably gotten more than anyone's due. Also, Taylor-Joy doesn't show up until over an hour into it. Not dissing her, but seems like Alyla Browne should be getting some more credit than I've seen.

Overall, great movie, highly recommend, meant for the big screen if you can

Also, funny little detail I remember seeing. I was too into the movie to constantly be noting the time, but about an hour and a half in, when Dementus and his goons break down the giant gate to chase Furiosa, I noticed one guy on the far left side gets knocked down and trampled. Was so abrupt it made me laugh, no one else did that I heard. Reminded me of the Ent on fire putting himself out in The Two Towers.

I liked it a lot also. Would def rewatch. Only criticisms were less practical effects than before and could see a lot of cgi and I felt Chris was either miscast or didn’t fully dive into the villain character. I wanted to hate him more

Yes, watch this on the big screen. Great movie. Those big V-8 engines just sound so good in Dolby Atmos. The theater was rock’n at certain points that the HVAC system was rattling. Made for an immersive experience.
