Let's list some reasons it's essential to read the books before you watch the movies

I'll start with the fact that they don't reveal Wormtail died in the movies.

As bad as this may sound, but I think it’s essential to read OOtP before watching the movie so you can be let down by the Dumbledore/Voldemort duel.

In the book Prisoner of Azkaban, you get more background about the Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs quartet than the movie gives.

I didn't read the book, but if I read it I might be disappointed in the movie?

I think I'll order all the Potter books.
