This movie gave me a good fuzzy feeling. There’s something about watching John Leguizamo shoot at a rich ass Christmas tree with machine gun that just warms my blood. I’m like that. Then there were many more joyful moments and the fun was not only found in the violence but also in the sweet heartfelt relationship between Santa and the little girl or the mystery floating between rich momma and her children while held hostages in the living room. A merry good time. If, like me, you’re a fan of this film you ought to get the collector’s edition DVD; the deleted scenes and bonuses are adding a lot to the whole experience. My rating: 8/10

I had a good time watching it, too. Maybe wouldn't give it such a high rating, coz it's an imperfect movie, but it's a fun time and that's all I want when watching a seasonal movie.

Yeah, I see what you mean but if you’d watch the deleted scenes and making of, you might increase your rating a bit too. They really had fun doing this and it shows.

You can tell. I always like watching movies where you can see they're having a ball doing it. This is probably why I rate Coming 2 America higher than a lot of people, coz they're having an absolute blast and it's apparent. I don't think I've ever seen Wesley Snipes as happy as in this film.
