Which one had the worst ending this or Lost?

Lost lost me somewhere in the middle of the first season as just, well figured out a few things and it was just not for me, the ending there, kinda figured would be they way it ended, least that is what a few told me that watched it, and they hated it. Out of those that hated the Lost ending, most have watched Merlin by now, and yes, a couple also hated it, though not as much as the Lost ending.

I dont know why so many hated the ending of Merlin, a show very loosely based on a fantasy story that we know Arthur dies in the end too. Yes, I get that so many wanted to see both Arthur and Merlin side by side in Albion (spelling ?). Here is my take from the show, that Arthur is the ONCE AND FUTURE king, key word FUTURE, that future has not happened yet. Albion as foretold, where Merlin with his magic excepted by Arthur as king is yet to happen, so the ending in that sense is the right ending.

Mentioned this to my friends that also thought the ending in Merlin was not good, and with the exception of one, who in general likes to be his own "word" (how his family puts up with, well guess I do too, as he does show kindness and more, just always wants to be right), had not seen it the way I did and more or less after thinking about it, agreed that yes, Albion has not yet happened. A true Albion has yet to be.

How I Met Your Mother (not watched)
Dexter (not watched)
Roseanne (watched, found it weird but ok)
Two and a Half Men (watched some or most, ending, ehh)
Quantum Leap (watched, ending ? what ? left unanswered ?)
Angel (watched, considering left little time to wrap, left for us to imagine, was ok)
Chuck (watched, had the last season shorted, had to end, so imagine all turned out good)

I thought the ending of Merlin and Lost were both good. I liked that Lost took a risk for the last season and the finale.

As for other bad endings. No show has had the worst final season and finale than How I Met Your Mother. It was like they forgot the entire premise of the show and ignored the character development of the last few seasons.

At least Merlin followed the general legend of Arthur's death.
