My Uncle actually lost one of his big toes, I forgot how but he did. We use our big toes a great deal when balancing ourselves. He basically had to re-learn how to walk and stand straight (maybe re-learn is too strong, but there was definitely difficulty). He had the handicap tags and everything. Just some thought... Jason seemed totally fine afterwards in this movie though.

It's preposterous that although it's so cold he lost a toe to frostbite, he could wander around outside nearly naked all night and lie in the snow and not die of hypothermia.

Yes I thought Jason should have at least walked with a limp in a few scenes.

I have met a few people who lost a big toe, but it was usually diabetes and they had other problems too, so I can't go by that, as to how they walked afterwards.
