Lame, predictable, tried to be super sweet at the end..

It was predictable, especially with Alex and Violet's sister Suzie achieving all the things Tom and Violet were 'supposed' to be achieving...yet somehow the storyline with Alex and Suzie was often more entertaining than what was taking place between Tom and Violet.

I'm getting fed up with these storylines where a woman who is focused on her career fights a losing battle in life until she gives in and puts the man in her life first, or something to that effect. It's not a rant about feminism, I'm just sick of seeing it every week or every month in films which date back to the 1930s. I can't tell you how many films I've seen like that over the past
decade.

If you are looking for original stories, you shouldn't be watching rom-coms. Try the theater maybe.
