I'm sure this might have been brought up already, but I know violet plays a British character and winton I think is Scottish. So being that they aren't American wouldn't they the hold onto their roots why would they celebrate thanksgiving together? I mean maybe it's something they picked up from being in America , but still seems like something they wouldn't really do unless they were with other Americans.

shareIf you notice all they had was a small dinner. No turkey or the "fixins". Take away the fact they mention its thanksgiving and that could have easily had been an ordinary Thursday dinner.

I thought the same about Thanksgiving then noticed the food and concluded he was being sarcastic. Or ironic depending on what side of the Atlantic you live.
