If we base Violet's age on Emily Blunt's age, Emily Blunt was born in 1983, the year Wham! released their first album. It's not likely that a girl her age would have been a huge Wham! fan when she was young, even ironically. And if Emily Blunt is supposed to be playing someone ten years older, it's not very believable considering her perfect skin and where Violet was in her career track and all.
