If taken for what it is, this show is exceptional

Most will probably bitch and moan about all the usual crap (woke, gay, blah, blah, blah), but if this show is viewed through the proper prism, it is a blast.

This series is nothing more than a good version of a Latino telenovela. It has all the markings of the foundations of one of those - the acting is at times over the top, allegiances change faster than rapids, with foes and friends flip-flopping all over the place just like in a soap opera.

And the twists and turns. You won't know which way is up almost episode to episode. And the great thing about this is that the twists don't all require a suspension of belief to believe in them. Most of them are plausible within the limits of the series.

The filming construction is also remarkable. It is like every actor, and actors not yet introduced, have their own camera throughout the series to capture their point of view. This allows the creators to introduce different plot lines and characters in a way that it does not seem if they were added as the seasons went on (if you watch it, you'll see what I mean).

Also, everything is wrapped up in the final season and all explained.

So, if one sits down and views this as an exaggerated night time soap opera and just enjoy it as it develops, then most should enjoy this bonkers series.
