So was his flashback of birth his last memory before being reincarnated as his sister and alexs' child. Or was the love hotel just part of his dmt induced trip as he lay dying in the bathroom?
shareThat is up to you my friend :) I personally like to think he was being born again, reincarnated as his sister's child which, when you think about their intense spiritual connection, is very beautiful.
shareOr was everything that happened after Oscar smoked DMT in his apartment just a hallucination (including him dying)? Things that might support this:
* They said a DMT trip lasts 6 minutes but feels like infinity. Oscar had just a few minutes of trip and then was back to normal. Or was he?
* Alex tells Oscar about the content of The Book of the Dead when they were walking to The Void. But during Oscar's out-of-body experience (flashback) Alex tells him the same thing (in the past), shouldn't Oscar know this later?
* Oscar's out-of-body experience takes the same road/path Alex teaches him from the book (re-living past and present, being reincarnated). Seems a bit weird that that's exactly what happens to Oscar. Could be more likely that its just a trip (because Oscar read or was told the content).
Just some thoughts, might be totally wrong! :-)
