DMT - the most interesting drug topic - enter the void most boring film
first up i will make it clear i hated ENTER THE VOID.... my expectations were high.....i was bored out of my brain. and as a DMT trip only lasts about 10 mins. this movie was way to long.... i have been told and experienced myself amazing things on dmt....the best one is people experiencing alien entites, i had a friend, who was covinced he had been visited by an alien entity that was invading his space, a girlfriend that saw herself revert back to a 7 year old child. and myself visuals that cant be described. IF YOU READ THE TIBETAN BOOK OF THE DEAD. and then took dmt, i personally believe there would be no carry over. as once you had taken the dmt, you would be in that moment... and the book wouldn't even come into play. i know gasper noe loves kubrick...... and 2001 has been one of my favourite films since i first saw it when i was 13, and many times as an adult... i always trip when i watch that film....(without drug references or the tibetan book of the dead) if as i am guessing gasper noe is trying to produce that experience... the movie fails, or its the weakest worst dmt trip ever. IRREVERSIBLE great movie. i will leave with one last thought, which some people may not like. i think the tibetan book of the dead thing, is a red herring.... it has no great meaning or purpose to the story, when there is none, just a nice addition to the blurb.
