Why did CEO of USA Gymnastics Steve Penny constantly cover and protect Dr Nassar? Did Nassar have something on Steve Penny? Did they share child porn together?

Perhaps for the same reason Penn State and Joe Paterno failed repeatedly to protect children from Jerry Sandusky: because they coldly valued an athletic program (with the huge amount of money Tied to its success) above the safety and welfare of children.
