trailer = whole movie

just watch the trailer here on imdb and its the whole movie. why do they keep doin this. so pointless.

reply

It is ridiculous how often trailers merely act as an entire summary of the movie rather than a glimpse of what it is about.

In this case it saved me an hour and a half of my life that I would have never gotten back. It looks like a piece of crap. I can see why the sick perverted movie critics embraced it. I wonder if it would have been received as well if this was an all male cast with the same plot.

Man, your so right. This happens so much nowadays. I did start to watch the full movie, but the trailer gives so much away I realised early in it was pointless. Trailers shouldn't contain ANY plot whatsoever. Ever since they started releasing Teasers (which really are trailers) the trailer then then seems to go one further and reveal far to much. Whoever cut the trailer together for Cracks, has surely lost them money on this film, that's for sure!

I've never watched the movie, but it seems like the trailer has already explained everything (who kidnapped the Spanish girl, how things turned out...).

Plus, I wasn't really a fan of the idea.
A teacher jealous of her student who was simply more popular than her?
Script writers nowadays...
They never seem to understand that movies are meant for entertainment, not awards.

No one kidnaps Fiamma and the teacher isn't jealous of her.

Actually, I thought the trailer made the film look a lot different to how it turned out to be - as proven by the poster up there - they assume kidnap and jealousy, neither of which were plotpoints.

I thought the trailer was very good - it made you interested, and I don't think the critics who praised the film were 'sick and perverted'

The film was beautiful, and I thought it was brilliant that they chose to adapt this to a film, rather than shying away from controversial topics.
