Help - who is the actress?

Can anyone help me with this? During CJ's trial, on the first day, there is a very familiar-looking elderly actress sitting next to Cory in the front row. She isn't credited, and I thought maybe it was a reference back to the original, but looking at the cast for the earlier version, none of the names ring a bell as possibly being that actress. I'd love to know if it is indeed a cameo from an actress from yesteryear and if there is a link to the original - does anyone know?

I thought she looked like Dina Merrill, but I think Dina would be too old by now.

I think you're spot on there porfle - that is definitely who I was thinking of. She'd be late 80s and looking good on it but I'm happy with that answer, right or wrong! Thanks.

Porfle - I started looking for a link based on what you said and how about this from her IMDB biography:

'in 1989 Dina married actor and investment banker Ted Hartley. Together they bought RKO Studios (renamed RKO Pavilion) in which he serves as chairman while she is a vice chairperson and creative director. The studio, which they still run, has produced such popular efforts as...'

As this is an RKO pic it makes sense now. Again, good spot pal!

If you scroll down the cast,
then hit (more) Dina Merrill
is listed as a juror.

I thought for sure it was Melvina Deane (The oldest living survivor from the Titanic)
