Honestly, I can't fathom a reason why Michael Douglas would put his name on one of the worst scripts from Hollywood ... unless, somehow, he's still commanding 10-20 million a movie and is just "getting his" before the offers stop.

Anyone got any better ideas?

I dont have anything to add, but i basically rented this movie cause he has been in mostly intelligent, entertaining movies in the past.

This movie sucked though

i agree.. the whole time i was watching this, i couldn't believe michael douglas had sunk so low.

I agree. Also, I thought he was a little too old for the part. An up-and-coming DA hoping to make a name for himself so he can run for governor would be about 45, not 65.
