the script was actually quite good. what lacked however was the performances and direction. metcalf simply cant act. why he was cast(especially opposite Michael Douglas) is weird. a better lead would've helped.
this also felt like it was shot for a movie of the week. the potiental this movie had is undeniable. too bad it sucked hard!
I was shocked that they cast Metcalf too. And to put him in a movie with Michael Douglas is beyond comprehension. The casting director should be run out of town
shareMetcalfe was awful, but no actor could have saved this movie. It was so obvious what the setup was from the beginning that no amount of acting could have helped. It sure couldn't have hurt though because only Tamblyn was any good. That sadly includes Michael Douglas, whom I like but he must have owed someone a favor.
