An underrated remake.
Professional film critics called the movie "bland", i thought this film was excellent. It's subtle, but what's wrong with that?! The thing about remakes is - is that they're limited, it's a basic replica of the original just with some dialogue changes and a few scene changes. They did their best with this flick. When i watched it for the first time years ago i wasn't expecting the twist, that is why subtlety works sometimes - the viewers get used to a certain aspect of the film and then all of a sudden things drastically change.
