Extremely short-lived fame. Movie will probably not happen.

I remember when the pandemic started in March everyone was talking about this stupid show. Now, I am making the first post in 3 months! I bet whoever is making the movie is sorry they bought a white elephant. Nicolas Cage can add another flop to his resume if the movie actually gets made.

It's more than a year later and this show was all the rage during the shutdowns? Was a movie on the story being planned and will it still happen?

Yeah the show was a long time ago and a movie might not be a good idea if people consider it a "fad" or "craze" that has already come and gone. How much interest is there in a homosexual bigamist and cat lady who apparently murdered her husband?
