The DP of Angel Heart, Michael Seresin...

is also the DP of All Good Things....if you listen to the angel heart commentary, you will hear how allan parker and michael seresin used the image of FANS to imply imminent death/portal to death....24 years later in All Good Things, seresin uses the images of the FAN/S AGAIN!!! to imply the three upcoming deaths!!!!!.....now i only realized this fact because i rented both flics on the same day, and since i've seen angel heart numerous times, i went straight to the commentary where parker mentions FANS numerous times.

then i popped in all good things, not realizing that seresin was the DP....check out how many times that FANS are used in shots to imply the 3 death!!!!

it's like renting liam neesons, unknown, and spotting al the OZ grafitti.

i'd like to know if anybody has seen seresin use FANS in his other work?

I hadn't noticed the fans in this one! I really like the photography and soundtrack in this. The atmosphere created was very efficient. I often find that "atmospheric" is an objective that often gets aimed for, and then gets really overdone to the point of ridicule, such as in The Prisoners, which I just watched. Like all other cinematic tricks, it is best used in moderation, as was done here. Thanks for the good memories, Angel Heart was in my top 5 movies way back then.
