When I heard Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead 2013, Don't Breathe 2016) was involved. A TCM film from the director of ED 2013? Sounds brilliant. Turned out he would only be producing!!
The film tested poorly and they balked at a theatrical release so they sold it to Netflix.

Fede should have directed this the goober. He's finally stepping back behind the camera for the new Alien movie. I guess he considers that franchise to be 'worthy' of his time and effort.
