Not getting my hopes up.

- Sold to Netflix, forgoing a theatrical release. Getting released in February when Netflix have had the rights since August ? Surely an October release would have been better ? Why sit on it for half a year ?

- The original director was fired very early into shooting and replaced. Neither the original director nor this newly listed one have any real credentials.

- I've seen some folks online who claim to have read the script say it's complete garbage.

- Rumors of poor reception to early test screenings.

- The trailer didn't look all that great. Nothing really spiked my interest.

But I have seen all the others and will check this out for completions sake. Who knows it could be decent, but damn it seems like a real shitshow. Who'd a thought I'd be pining for a return to the Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013) days.
