Are you referring to when the wife asks Jenny if she is "in the family way?" Because that's a euphemism for being pregnant. I can't think of anything she said that could be taken to mean he'd had incestuous affairs.
Well, I'm stupid...
I thought 'the family way' meant she was related somehow...
But I did here it a couple of other times, can't remember where in the film or in the information but it said something about relationships with family members...
