Sammy and Kari

Towards the end of the film, Lee tells her little sister Kari that Sammy abused her. I missed this part in the film. When did that happen?? I remember Sammy himself being abused after the man propositioned him in the car for the school trip money. Very disturbing.

We later learn that Sammy has an inappropriate relationship with his underaged baby sitter, and that's when Kari is again confronted with the abuse that happened to her in the past..but I don't recall seeing that transpire between Sammy and Kari. Will someone clarify?

Thanks

Sammy did not sexually abuse Leigh. I remember Leigh telling Kari "How can you look up to him after what he did to YOU?" After Sammy's mom killed her bf/husband's lover and goes to jail, Sammy moves in with Kari's family. It's the scene where they are laying on Kari's bed and she kisses him on the cheek. His kisses her back and the abuse began.

I never thought he abused Leigh. Sorry, my sentence wasn't executed well. I meant that Leigh made reference to Kari that Sammy abused Kari. But thanks for pointing out the relevant scene. I may have to watch this again.

Sorry, it think I just read your question too fast lol. A great film overall. I was rooting for Sammy to escape and overcome his abuse. Sadly it happens....

U seemed to of not watched the movie. Sammy is kari's older cousin. Two scenes after Sammy's mom killed her husbands side chick Sammy and Kari are hanging out in her room. Kari nicely kisses Sammy kisses her back and rapes her. U need captions to watch this movie. When the scene moves into the static of the TV before 10 years later is when he rapes her.

"seem to not of"?? And *I* need captions?? -_-

Your comment was pointless. Not only did your point get screwed up with your horrendous grammar, but the previous user already explained the situation. Thanks for trying, though.
