I revere the source material but have many misgivings about Denis Villeneuve. Will I hate it it? (By the way, I like the uneven imperfect Lynch version)

shareIm not going to watch it. Two buddies of mine have watched it and say that it's pretty. The main character is bland. All the actors speak in the same tone. And one of these friends prefers lynch's version over the new one.
