That its taken me till today to see this fantastic movie. Seriously loved every minute of it. I'm pretty familiar with Vera ala- The Conjuring, and Bates Motel. But my god, Isabelle Fuhrman completely stole the show for me. She was perfect, I had forgotten she was in The Hunger Games, but I'd def like to see her get more roles. Just all around a really great film.

Isn't she brilliant?? And the sweetest thing ever in real life, I was lucky enough to be Myspace friends with her years back when everyone used it. I love the atmosphere, the setting, the acting, how the villain is sympathetic (read the trivia).

shareI've only just watched it for the first time, having been aware that it's a pretty well regarded horror film for many years now. One of those films where you ask yourself why you didn't check it out sooner.
It's a lot better than many horror films that dominate 'best horror films of all time' lists. Very well acted, great story, a nice cold visual aesthetic and enough tension to keep you on the edge of your seat.
I think what I like best is the twist. The first time I saw this, I never saw that coming
