Who else saw this trainwreck in theaters? Any funny theater stories?
I saw this in theaters and remember being absolutely blown away by how shockingly abysmal it was. Straight from the title card, which looked like it had been made in Windows Movie Maker, I knew it would be bad...but I never could've predicted just HOW bad it was about to be. On the bright side, it was one of the best comedies I had ever seen in theaters; the entire audience was roaring with laughter at pretty much every scene. The slowmo shot of the Creeper getting shot at in midair had us laughing so hysterically loud that I couldn't even hear the movie itself, with the dude next to me literally wiping away tears and struggling to catch his breath. No comedy has EVER had that impact on an audience from what I've seen.
There was a scene where (I guess?) a biker teen is nabbed by the Creeper in midair or something, but it's shot and edited poorly and you cant see what happens. Some dude behind shared the same sentiment and shouted "WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED???" and the audience burst out with laughter.
I just saw the film again on the SyFy channel (where it should've stayed) and it fits perfectly in with Ghost Shark, 3-Headed Shark Attack, Tremors 6, and Anaconda 17. The only issue is that this supposedly had a budget, actual actors, a director who's done theatrical work, and we paid money to see it in theaters. Has there been a movie this bad from this decade? Pretty much everything that could be wrong about a single film is wrong in Jeepers Creepers 3; terrible acting, zero plot, made-for-television levels of production, downright careless directing, incredibly confusing pacing, and some of the worst writing I've ever seen.
