The ending was soooo limp


Papers blowing in the wind. An assumed death off-camera.
Very lame, boring, not worthy of the movie.
It's like Polanski said, 'OK people, were 2 weeks over, so let's wrap this up in one quick shot'.

I'm not against him being killed, but why would he cross the street and leave himself exposed out in the open for a 'hit and run' like that?

You couldn’t be more wrong. The ending makes the film. It’s chilling and perfect, the understatement of the off-screen death combined with the vital pages floating into obscurity is *chef’s kiss*
