Since when has it been called The Ghost?
I saw it on theaters and own the DVD as The Ghost Writer. When has it changed and why?

shareIt was released as The Ghost in the UK, so IMDb may use that title since it's the movie's country of origin.
shareWhen I saw it in the cinemas it was the ghost
Huh? Maybe they changed it back since it's "The Ghost Writer" now on imdb....I also saw it in theatres and remember it being the latter throughout the entire duration of its cinema run. However, a friend did reference it as The Ghost once (and this was still in the US) so I don't know, maybe some wires got crossed somewhere...
shareIt was called The Ghost in the UK and that was the name of the novel it was based on.
