"White Material" is being screened on October 9 at the New York Film Festival:

So far there is no American distributor listed.

I was nearly tearing my hair out, attempting to make a list of the films I'm looking forward to this year as of July 1st. And I named 51, haha. So, this makes it much easier.

I gather from this news that most likely this film will be pushed to late winter/early spring of 2011. Drat! But hey, I live in NJ, so perhaps I should venture on over to the fest this fall.

Umm this was LAST year when it played the fest. I know because I was there.
