A Netflix/Hulu Original
Seems Hollywood is now trying to use the Netflix/Hulu formula of unnatural lighting, corny script writing, and a gothic/modern setting to attract viewers. This movie will flop. Not even Cage can save it.

shareI disagree Sir or Madam, Nicolas Cage can raise any project up and especially when he ‘Cages’ out! I’d wager nobody can electrify a dumb movie more than our guy Cage. The man seems manic, he stridently emotes and goes completely bonkers in nearly every scene. He’s a total wild man and a gift to the audience.
Check out The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent from 2022, Cage still has screen charisma and jokiness to beat the band👍
I love Cage. As I said, he is good enough to save a movie, but this movie is so bad he will be unable to save it.
Cage gets cast in a lot of shit movies as he has a relatively cheap price, the willingness to try a variety of projects, and because he was bailing himself out of debt. Unfortunately, this leads to a lot of bad directors and shitty stories utilizing him to try and bump their exposure.
The soulless formula of Netflix style movies is like a black hole of fail. Idrk how to phrase it atm. A celebrity turning them into something better rarely happens. So much so that I can't even think of an example.
Cage maybe saved Willy's Wonderland, but it was still a pretty bad movie. Looking at his filmography the last movie I think he saved from being a total piece of shit was Army of One in 2016.
I hear you. He’s committed to his work.
Cage is a wild card and boy oh boy does he go for glory every time!
I can’t think of another actor who can seem like a totally normal guy who transitions into completely losing his shit in two seconds flat.
I’m a big fan, Nic Cage is awesome👍
You're spot on about Army of One. I don't think another actor could have pulled that off. The knife throwing scene was absolutely amazing.
sharenot original i had this idea in 2006. except it had van helsing instead of dracula.
