The scene that shows Boyd as one of the owners also shows a guy that talks like TOPHER. What happens to him?

I really, really thought he was the original and that Topher was him minus certain information about the grand plan. Plus, I guess he would have to have had a different sort of Active Brain structure so that he wouldnt get zonked out by any remote wipe device Topher would come up himself.

So, did anyone else think the same? And what happened to the suited guy?

That was Clyde 2.0. He was never really a person. He was a personality Boyd and the original Clyde created together. Boyd then betrayed Clyde and kept the fake personality as his "partner" since he knew it'd never betray him.

I believe the last we see of him, he's in Whiskey's body fighting Echo.

Let's be bad guys.

Thanks I was asleep for parts of the last 2 eps so that explanation helps. I was so bored with the series that I dozed off during some scenes and the Clyde story didnt make sense to me (till now).

When I was watching the Attic episode I was properly interested till after the ta-da scene in the Japanese resturant scene ( which was a proper 'whoa' moment) - eveything after that got too convoluted for my taste. I mean, I love Matrix and Inception but there was something amiss in how the nightmare reality was done in the Dollhouse.
