Tiny tiny single woman beats whole army?

Though I like Eliza, and she was leading central role very good, I wonder is it possible that such a teeny tiny woman can beat up few big grown up men or as in one episode, whole army? She didn't even lose a tooth or had a bruise! I get it that small persons can be tough and strong but really? I like Dollhouse and I get it's a fiction but that kinda bothered me. She even fights with her hair down which is fighting hazard.
Echo looks like she weighs less than 100 lbs, and no matter how strong or smart she is, I can't really believe that she is that tough and strong. All the other women are also tiny but Echo is supposed to be unbeatable. It's really hard to believe.

considering we are all nothing more than reactions to hormones in accordance to physical fitness, she'd probably be able to do it.

After all, it's not men, it's women who bleed for days and survive, and even worse, go to work meanwhile.

Occasionally they chose to be split in half to birth a child and walk away few hours later.

That's just normal behavior.

The only reason under normal conditions men are little bit stronger than women, is cause they have constant low dosage of testosterone in their blood.

So theoretically, yes, tiny woman could defeat an army

You know absolutely nothing about basic human physiology. It is a fact (that some women don't like to hear) that men have more muscle mass and are, on average, larger amd stronger than women. If a man and a woman have the same level of training and are of average size for their sex, the man will win in a fight every single time. I just had this conversation with a female boxer who has never lost a match, so she's quite good. She also works in the medical industry (i know, that's odd to me) and understands anatomy quite well.

If you recall, when she defeated a "whole army" she was linked to all their brains. She could see what actions they were planning to take, and she was able to counter their orders. She didn't actually defeat each soldier in combat.

Even then! Imagine you have thoughts of only two people, let alone of more than 8! Too much! She would be a living killing machine.

reply

That's the point. That's why she was able to beat them. She already had 30+ other people in her head.

Can't stop the signal.

This was season 2, wasn't it? Wasn't Echo like 40 different personalities at this point?

40 Different lifetimes of expertise all commanded by a single consciousness.

I think it came down to Echo already kinda knowing what a Hive mind felt like.

And that is 40 professional personalities, from ninjas to sex workers and all in between. I think she just a had a better ability to think outside the box and a much less rigid thought process then a bunch of tied together soldiers.

That's exactly what it came down to. She already had tons of skills she didn't have to learn herself. On top of that her and alpha were said to be unique as the only ones who could handle all the imprints. That would have made it possible for her to override the soldiers orders.

Just because you can execute the perfect kick, doesn't make you strong enough to throw men twice your size across the room.

While that's true, knowing the soldiers every move before they did it would make it easier to avoid.

This is the plot of every studio movie or show. I'm all for grrrl power, but a hint of reality is always nice. I loved Die Hard because even though one man takes out an entire merc team (unrealistic) he at least was covered in blood, (Mostly his) scrapes and bruises. A bit of reality

Echo takes out 10 soldiers with guns. Technique is important but there is no tech that can allow you to become ten times stronger. Just because you can execute the perfect kick, doesn't make you strong enough to throw men twice your size across the room.
