Fell asleep....still loved it.....is that a Jarmusch bias? Or...??

I started watching this movie last night at around 1 am, but I wasn't particularly tired (I usually go to bed around 3 and get up at 10)...I got through 25 mins or so, and then I drowsed off...I woke up and finished it and loved it...

For the haters, the things I loved were all the things left unanswered, particularly the papers in the matchbox and what each character asked the lone man if he had any interest in...

However....I DID fall asleep. If I fall asleep during a movie, that's usually a sign that I "hated" it. But, this movie just happened to be slow. If this movie weren't by Jim Jarmusch...I don't know if I would've felt the same...Am I just biased? I can't figure it out....I have about 2000 dvds, this being my newest, and I often lone them out to friends who don't leave them disc down on top of their tv...But I don't know how I can tell someone "Watch this...I fell asleep during it...it's awesome"

the peej abides.

This is exactly what happened to me. I watched it around 2 AM and I was tired. I dozed off twice and had to rewind it a little. But I think the movie is great. Then again, I will admit I have a bias toward Jarmusch.
