Underrated Film!

Sure, it isn't Jarmusch's best, but I'll be damned if "The Limits Of Control" isn't one of the most shockingly original films in years! The review from the New York Observer was an absolute joke, and ended by saying: "Pure, undiluted crap, this is the worst movie since Synecdoche, New York."
I cannot believe that there are professional film critics who think 'Synecdoche, New York', one of the best films of this past decade, is "pure, undiluted crap".
I guess this really isn't anything new, considering critics often slam and tear apart bold and experimental films, but even Roger Ebert, a critic I usually admire even when I don't agree with him, wrote a review lacking any substance and with no support for why the film is so 'bad'.
"The Limits of Control" is an absolutely gorgeous looking film, and also refreshing. Oh well, "2001: A Space Odyssey" got its share of negative reviews back when it was first released as well.

I never listen to critics. Ever. Just look at the response that masterpieces from the past received when they were originally released. Best just to draw your own conclusions and back them with facts, interpretations, etc.
