What year exactly was this movie filmed?

Obviously it came out in 2010 but reading the trivia it makes it feel like the movie was filmed a year or before it was released like it was in 08 or 09 anyone know?

According to IMDB, it was filmed from September 2008-November 2008. I think it was supposed to come out in 2009 but T.I. and Chris Brown's legal issues caused them to delay the movie. T.I. had to go to prison in March 2009 to serve his year long sentence and we all know what happened with Chris Brown that year.
