How many movies did this rip off

1. Overall plot was definitely a slimline version of Heat.

2. Slow motion gunfire in the hotel room was True Romance.

3. The three way gun stand off at the airport was Reservoir Dogs.

I think it seemed to have ripped off more than three films.

It's that man again!!

It also ripped of the Italian job with the armored truck falling through the street.

That device was also used in "Ocean's 11/12/13" - I can't recall which.

That noted, doesn't the idea of a bunch of crooks stealing money from armoured trucks date back to the 1930s or 1940s? Isn't the idea that one of the crooks might be a "rat" equally old? When you start looking for "rip offs" where do you stop? Why does it matter at all, provided the result is good? (I'm not saying this was an especially good film, but the questions stand.)

Enough good ones. :)

1. In all fairness to this movie, the number of heist films... post-1995... that supposedly took a page or two from Michael Mann’s masterpiece is a long one (the recent “Den of Thieves” is among them).

Furthermore, 2 and 3 could’ve come from a classic John Woo film. The Mexican standoff, for example, was not something Tarantino invented for cinema.

That said, it’s a strong possibility the filmmakers behind Takers had Tarantino in mind when making it. And Takers is anything but great but worthwhile nonetheless. It has a pretty solid cast (not including Chris Brown).
