Some of the weirdest shit I've ever seen. (spoilers)

And I thought Lovecraft Country was truly off-beat. I didn't care for the ending, but the rest of the show was crazy. I did wonder about a few of the characters, tho.

Lisa - I know she went to a "witch" to exact her revenge, but she seemed really nonchalant about hair-balling up kittens. It didn't seem like a really big deal to her.

Roy - Not too concerned about fisting a girl in the ribs? Didn't seem to faze him.

Mary - I know she lost a eye, but her anger didn't fit the incident. She really wanted Lisa to die over it? She decided to kill Code? Seemed a little extreme.

It was a good show.

Also loved this show, so glad I found it. Very bizarre, but works in the show's favour with the context and setting, as well as the visuals.

Here's my 2c about these things;
Lisa - From what I remember the first time she barfed a kitten she was freaking out a bit, wasn't she? I only remember it becoming routine after she had done it a few times. Alternatively, the fact she was the descendant of the Jaguar Goddess maybe meant she already had some supernatural exposure or at least subconsciously wasn't as afraid?

Roy - This is an interesting one, for some reason I thought that scene was partly in Lisa's imagination, and the wound in her ribs was already turned into the tattoo/healed over by the time her and Roy started going at it. Having said that, we didn't see anything to indicate it was an imagination, but I figured it must have been for Roy to not react to it.

Mary - I thought that Mary's anger was partly justified considering that Lisa said she loved her and then essentially used her and dumped her immediately, even after the horrendous incident with the eye. Not only was she left in an awful state for the sake of the movie, but she seemed particularly angry when Code implied that Lisa never even mentioned Mary to him, she obviously was in love with Lisa and felt deeply betrayed.
